Voici mon avis sur le shampooing volumateur Yes to Tomatoes.
J'ai acheté ce gros flacon de 500 ml sur beautybay.com quand il était en promotion. Je me souviens l'avoir payé quelque chose comme 9 euros, ce qui était raisonnable.
Here is my review of Yes to Tomatoes volumizing shampoo.
I got this big (500 ml / 16.9 fl oz) on beautybay.com when they were having a sale so I think I paid 9 euros for it which was not too bad.
Pendant que j'y suis, je voulais dire que j'ai déjà commandé plusieurs fois sur ce site et contrairement à d'autres clients qui ont eu des problèmes de paquets qui ne sont jamais arrivés, moi je n'ai jamais eu aucun problème avec eux. L'envoi est gratuit, ils ont souvent des promotions intéressantes et en général je reçois mon colis dans un délai de 7 jours ou moins donc en ce qui me concerne ils offrent un très bon service.
By the way I also wanted to say that I have ordered several times from this site and unlike some people who have reported having problems with parcels that never arrived, I have never had any trouble with them. Shipping is free, they often have very good deals and it usually takes less than a week for the parcel to arrive so as far as I'm concerned, they offer a very good service.
Revenons maintenant à ce shampooing. Ca ne se voit pas sur la photo mais nous en sommes au dernier quart. Je dis nous car c'est principalement mon mari et mon fils qui l'utilisent. Oui, vous l'aurez deviné, c'est encore un produit que je n'ai pas aimé (et que j'ai donc honteusement refourgué aux autres membres de la famille!).
Now let's go back to this shampoo. You can't tell from the picture but we are down to the last quarter. I say we because now it is mostly my husband and son who use it. Yes you guessed it this is another product that I did not like (and unshamedly passed on to other members of the family!).
D'abord parlons de l'odeur. J'attendais quelque chose de frais qui me rappelerait au moins vaguement l'odeur de la tomate (mûre ou verte ; j'adore l'odeur de la tomate verte). Mais NON, ça sent le parfum (du genre porté par les vieilles dames et pourtant je n'ai rien contre les vieilles dames) et pas naturel du tout. Je suppose d'ailleurs que ça ne l'est pas (sur la liste des ingrédients on lit 'fragrance'). Première déception.
First of all let's talk about the scent. I was expected something fresh and at least vaguely reminiscent of tomatoes (ripe or green ; I love the smell of green tomatoes). But NO, it smells perfumy (to me sort of an old lady perfume, not that I have anything against old ladies but still) and not natural at all. I guess it isn't (it is written fragrance on the list of ingredients). So that was a big let down.
Ensuite c'est censé être un shampooing volumateur. Bon, oui juste après m'être lavé les cheveux j'ai en effet un peu plus de volume. Mais le jour suivant j'ai les cheveux ultra plats et plutôt gras (et j'ai tendantce à avoir les cheveux qui regraissent mais quand même pas à ce point là!).
Secondly it is supposed to be volumizing. Well, yes, right after I wash my hair. But by the next day it is as flat as can be and on the greasy side (my hair tends to regrease but usually not so quickly).
Pour conclure ce n'est définitivement pas un shampooing pour mon type de cheveux même si je pensais que cela me conviendrait (il est pour cheveux fins et j'ai en effet les cheveux fins). Et l'odeur ne me plaît pas du tout.
In conclusion this is definitely not a shampoo for my hair type even though I thought it might be (it says it is for fine hair and I certainly have fine hair). And I think it smells bad.
Encore une chose : il est dit sur l'étiquette que la composition est à 99,4% naturelle. J'aimerais bien savoir ce qu'il y a dans les 0,6% restant, pas vous?
