Il y a quelques jours j'ai fait une commande sur le site de ELF. C'était ma première et elle était motivée par l'envie de nouveaux vernis à ongles. Or les leurs ont une composition parmi les plus clean du marché (mais j'en reparlerai une prochaine fois). Et j'ai donc acheté un rouge à lèvres minéral, teinte Barely Bitten.
A few days ago I placed my first ELF order. I wanted to buy some new nail polishes and theirs have one of the safest formula on the market (but more on that in another post). And so I bought a mineral lipstick in Barely Bitten.
Le packaging est très bien et ne fait pas cheap.

Parmi les ingrédients on compte un dérivé du pétrole (de la paraffine) ce que je n'avais bien sûr pas remarqué avant de commander et pour cause, cet ingrédient n'apparait pas sur le site!!! Je vais leur envoyer un mail pour leur demander des comptes.
The formula contains paraffin wax, which I would rather avoid (it's derived from petroleum). Sadly I had not noticed it before buying and I could not have as it does not appear in the list of ingredients on the website!!! I will contact them shortly about this subject.
La couleur est belle, un rouge neutre qui peut être soit léger avec un passage du raisin, soit plus intense avec deux passages ou plus. Le fini est très intéressant, plutôt mat bien que le produit soit bien hydratant. A l'application, il glisse sur les lèvres, un vrai plaisir. La couleur tient bien quelques heures puis s'estompe. A noter qu'il ne contient pas de colorants chimiques, un bon point.
The color is beautiful, it's a neutral red which can be applied sheer with one swipe or built up to be more opaque and intense with two or more swipes. The finish is very interesting, it's a suede finish even though the product is moisturizing. It glides on lips effortlessly. The color lasts for a couple of hours then starts to fade. One good point is that it does not contain any chemical dyes.

Je ne pense pas commander d'autres teintes premièrement car à choisir je préfère soutenir de petites entreprises, d'autre part car ils m'ont trompé sur la liste des ingrédients. Et puis de toutes les façons, j'ai suffisamment de rouges à lèvres pour l'instant!
Si vous avez testé ces produits, donnez-moi votre avis!
I don't think I will purchase again as I would rather patronize small companies and also because they have deceived me with an incomplete ingredient list. And anyway I have enough lip products for the moment!
